High Intensity Mindset Exercise
Additional Words
DESIRE NUTRITION
Like a drip from a fresh natural spring, into a murky pond, this exercise will drop by drop clear the unwanted non serving thoughts from your mind, behind the scenes in a non threatening way.
Over the years, the mind has accumulated a lot of stuff and clutter. Much like walking through a cluttered home, bumping into one thing after another while trying to get to what you desire, so is it the same with your mind. Before you can get to one thing, you are distracted by another and another, never reaching your desired goal.
After a days activities have depleted your life force a bit, set aside 15 to 30 minutes or an hour if possible where you can be alone and undisturbed, in the quiet and stillness of your own being. Select words from the list that seem appropriate at the time for your desires at the moment or simply move down the list at your own pace. Firmly impress on your being each word while you interpret its meaning and reflecting on how it effects you. Does it feel good in the gut where your self talks to you?
Keep your focus off your body or affairs as your Outer Mind may try to lead you of course. Like steering a car, if this happens no worry, each time just keep steering the car back on the road. This tendency with the Outer Mind will gradually decrease and you will find yourself becoming a master of concentration.
This should not be stressful or filled with anxiety. Devote each evening to this unless an occasional event, family, business or social brings you away.
These very powerful words will automatically help you meet your desires, acting upon the Outer and Inner Mind like the nutrients in your diet act upon your diet. Don’t look for results from this meditation any more from which you would look from your every day eating habits. Practice this each evening and then forget about it. Its results will soon show up in you and your affairs from its work below the surface. You can add to these words as you see fit.
